Randomization Distribution
A randomization distribution is the distribution of a test statistic under all treatment assignments allowed by the randomization mechanism, assuming the null hypothesis is true.
It is the central object in randomization-based inference: the observed statistic is compared with the values produced by permuting assignments. This gives a p-value without relying primarily on large-sample normal approximations.
