Normal Plot of Factorial Effects
In an unreplicated factorial design, a normal plot of estimated effects is used to separate likely negligible effects from active effects.
The basic idea is that small inactive effects should fall roughly on a straight line, while unusually large effects that depart from the line are treated as potentially important.
